My philosophy about photography has changed rather dramatically over the past few years. My early photography, say 40 years ago, was traditional in nearly every sense: looking for the light reflecting from the object. I enjoy the older work, particularly the darkroom black and white. The satisfaction of the work seems to be a direct result of the effort...as with most things. My recent work has been with light "painting," through-the-lens photography, and blissful and totally adulterated manipulation in Lightroom.
